I am here because this is exactly where I am supposed to be. Life works in a funny way. I believe that fate put me here for a reason and that reason is to make the life of those around me a bit more joyful. That is why I'm in the band and that is why I love to entertain. I guess I would call myself an entertainer. Kind of like Britney Spears, without the whole... drugs and kids thing. I do love kids, though. Wait, what was the question again? Oh right. Why I am here. Why am I here? I think you are overthinking things, love. Just go with the flow, it will be all right. We'll get to the next stage when we get to the next stage. |

I hope you all got your tickets for our 5th Annual Madrigal Feast! You know you can't miss my girl, Amelia, singing her heart out. It'll be SO freaking good this year - even better than last year.
Ps. Luke, if I try out this Nyquil thing of yours and it makes me sick, I'm hurling into YOUR lap, tyvm.

I hope all y'all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends new and old! And, I hope your break has been as good as mine has been.
I've been practicing until it feels like my lips are going to get stuck in that position for forever, but I think it'll pay off when try outs come around and they're right around the corner! I did, however, get sidetracked occasionally and found myself crying so much faith in us as a people reinforced! I guess because it was so close to Thanksgiving, all these stories were surfacing - especially on Oprah! Anyway, even if it made me cry, it was just really uplifting to read and/or hear them. I swear it had nothing to do with PMS! I wish I could articulate just how much those stories got to me, but maybe it's better if I just share a few of the stories or at least links to them so you can feel good too. Here are two: blind marching band boy and cheerleaders making a difference.
Don't forget our Winter Concert for Choir on Thursday! |
